1st Johnstown Scout Group: End of Term Adventures and Awards at Cox Wood Camp
Last weekend, the 1st Johnstown Scout Group wrapped up their term with an incredible adventure at Cox Wood Camp. Despite the relentless rain, spirits were high as the young people braved the elements and made the most of their end-of-term celebration.
The day was filled with exciting activities that brought out the best in everyone. From exploring the great outdoors to team-building challenges, the Scouts showed their resilience and determination, proving once again why they are such a fantastic group of young people.
The highlight of the weekend was, of course, the awards ceremony. Congratulations to all the young people who achieved awards this term! Your hard work, commitment, and enthusiasm throughout the year have truly paid off. It’s always inspiring to see the growth and accomplishments of each individual, and this term was no exception.
We must apologize for the less-than-perfect photos—we blame the non-stop rain! However, the weather didn’t dampen the fun or the celebratory atmosphere. It’s a testament to the group’s positive attitude and the Scout motto of always being prepared!
A huge thank you to the leaders, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this weekend possible. Your dedication ensures that the young people of 1st Johnstown Scout Group continue to thrive and create lasting memories.
Here’s to another successful term and many more adventures to come! Well done to all, and we look forward to seeing what’s in store for the next chapter.
